STORM Warning: With no reference to the recent weather, this classic '50s Chicago blues band will be playing in the Basingstoke Blues Club, at the Moose Centre, Churchill Way, on Saturday, February 3.

Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets cost £6, available at the door.

RECYCLING pledge: The borough council is asking residents to make a pledge for 2007 on how much and what they will recycle.

Those who enter the competition will be eligible for the prize draw and all those who enter will receive a pledge certificate.
