SHOW success: Congratulations to Carla Emery and her dance school On Your Toes for their fantastic series of shows at the Haymarket Theatre.

The dance school started at the community centre in Hatch Warren, and many of the dancers featured in the show come from the area and attend local schools.

The performances were a great showcase for some of the very talented young people we have in Hatch Warren and Beggarwood.

STORM damage: With Basingstoke recording some of the highest winds in the South during the recent storm, it was no surprise to see the number of fences and trees brought down in Hatch Warren and Beggarwood.

The pavilion at Brighton Hill playing fields, near the Portsmouth Arms, had some fairly severe damage, the wind tearing off a large part of the roof.
